FEES FOR TAX SERVICES
We undertake to prepare the UK Income Tax Returns of landlords resident outside the UK (also known as non-resident landlords) from the information supplied by the lettings agent, and by the client himself/herself. We rely upon the information being provided to us being complete, accurate and timely in its submission. We cannot be held responsible for the consequences of inaccurate, incomplete or late submission of data to us. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee where the information supplied is incomplete, inaccurate or late.
We endeavour to handle the taxation affairs of non-resident landlords on our fixed fee basis. The current fixed fee is as follows:
SINGLE LANDLORD WITH SINGLE PROPERTY
£375 per year
second return for joint owner
£90 per year
EACH ADDITIONAL PROPERTY FOR THE SAME LANDLORD
£55 per year
members of an employee share scheme
£140 per year
Pension tax relief restriction (normally for UK residents with income over £150k only)

Capital gains Tax included in the SA return

£200 if property in joint ownership
mid-year CGT return (non-residents only until 2019)

The fees above cover most disposals. Occasionally a transaction will be considerably more complicated and the above scale will not apply. If this is the case we will agree a fee with you before commencing work.
Fees charged to residents of the EU are subject to VAT.
Our fixed fee arrangements only relate to non-resident landlords to whom one questionnaire is submitted and answered promptly each year, and who approve the tax return promptly on submission. This is normally sufficient to deal with the taxation compliance of non-resident landlords. This service excludes any Capital Gains Tax calculations or returns. Any non-resident landlord requiring more than this level of service may be charged an additional fee on a time-cost basis at the prevailing rates.
